Sipiso Piso Waterfall is a majestic natural wonder located in Tongging Village, Merek Subdistrict, Karo Regency, North Sumatra. This impressive waterfall plunges approximately 120 meters (around 394 feet) from the edge of a cliff into a deep ravine below. Its name, “Sipiso-Piso,” translates to “like a knife” in the local Batak language, a fitting description for its sharp, vertical cascade of water.

Formed by a small underground river flowing from the Karo Plateau, Sipiso Piso offers a breathtaking spectacle as it empties into the northern tip of Lake Toba’s caldera.
