The Lt. Gen. Jamin Ginting Museum is a historical monument dedicated to commemorating the great services of one of Indonesia’s National Heroes originating from the Karo Land, North Sumatra. Located in Suka Village, Namanteran District (near Berastagi), the museum was established on the grounds of Jamin Ginting’s ancestral village. The museum building is designed with traditional Batak Karo architecture, specifically the Siwaluh Jabu traditional house, which symbolizes the identity and kinship of the local community, while lending a strong cultural nuance to the visiting experience.
